These are five of the most commonly asked questions I get from prospective clients.

Qualified & experienced

Are you a qualified photographer?

Yes I am. I currently hold a British City & Guilds Level 4 Diploma: Photography & Imaging. This is a two year qualification which requires a student to undertake a final two hour studio practical examination by a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts John Bigglestone. Experience: I have 12 years knowledge & experience as a photographer having owned and managed a photography training website. Giving guidance and support to online photographers via monthly tutorials. Training level: Basic to advanced photographic techniques in lighting (Speedlite) and studio flash light set ups for Fashion, Glamour, Portraiture, Editorial and Corporate & Commercial photography.

Studio

Do you own a studio?

No I don't own a studio. I use various studios across the UK & Europe. Please visit this website: http://www.studiosforhire.com/. I do however own my own portable studio kit, which makes me more mobile and flexible to the clients requirements. As I can set this portable studio kit up in a boardroom, warehouse, or any location weather permitting. I also own a simple out outdoor kit (Flash speedlites etc) which allows me the added option of doing a photo shoot out doors in remote locations.

What genre of photography?

I specialize in Fashion, Glamour, Portraiture, Editorial and Corporate & Commercial photography. I am currently studying for a degree in Photography to further enhance my current photography qualification.

Journalist & Web content editor (Copywriter & Proofreader & editor)

I am a fully qualified and accredited journalist having managed and edited a photography website for eleven years as a "Web content editor & photographer". Please see my CV for more details.

I am an experienced Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 4 user. Having run and edited an online Photoshop CS5 teaching tutorial course each month for five years. I am proficient in Photoshop CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, HTML, CSS, HTML 5, Flash CS4, Javascript, PHP & MySQL. The layout and design of this website: www.EugeneStruthers.com was created by myself. Book me

If you would like to book me for a photo shoot. I require a deposit of 50% up front before doing so. A basic individual two hour photoshoot with edited images transferred onto a disc starts at £250.00.
